We set a mowing frequency that matches your lawn's growth rate — typically every 7–10 days in spring/fall, and 10–14 days in peak summer heat.
Before mowing, we check for obstacles, mark any irrigation heads, and confirm the right cutting height for the season.
Full mow at the correct height, clean edging along all hard surfaces, and trimming around fences, beds, and obstacles.
We blow all clippings off driveways, patios, and walkways. You won't need to clean up after us.
If we notice anything unusual — irrigation issues, disease, bare patches — we'll flag it so you can address it before it becomes a bigger problem.
During Kelowna's growing season (late April through late September), most lawns need mowing every 7–10 days in spring and fall when growth is fastest, and every 10–14 days in the heat of July and August. For the Okanagan summer heat, we recommend keeping lawns at 3–3.5 inches through July and August. Taller grass shades the soil, reduces evaporation, and stays greener longer without extra watering. We adjust our cut height by season — you don't need to think about it.
